Welcome to the Lectio Letter! A Fortnightly(ish) newsletter with links, music, recipes and one article or review from me focussed on Christian formation, Theology and Discipleship.

Why subscribe?

This newsletter helps fund my book-buying budget! Ok, that’s a little crass, but it is the bottom line.

For years, I’ve found myself recommending books and summarising them for friends and co-workers, so this newsletter was started to let you in on that.

We also work on creating curriculum in Christian Formation and Discipleship for Christian leaders and this newsletter helps me buy enough books to work out which ones are truly worth using. If you’d like to sign up, you’ll be contributing to the ongoing education and growth of Christian workers, and the bonus is that you’ll get reviews and news from me every two weeks.

Thanks for considering becoming a member…

Join the crew even if you can’t support it financially

While most of the newsletters go to paying members, I send out a few through the year to those who simply sign up, so if you can’t support my writing financially, feel free to sign up anyway.

What’s in the emails?

While the main part is an article or reflection on the topic of spiritual growth, discipleship or theology I also include;

  • A short update on our lives,

  • The books I’ve been reading and a short review of them,

  • A recipe we’ve been enjoying,

  • Music we’ve been listening to,

  • and a (sometimes too lengthy) list of miscellaneous links to news and things I’ve found interesting from around the web.

If that peaks your interest, I’d be delighted if you signed up now…
